Specialty: Breakdancing (All Levels)

Joel Martinez is a native Houstonian and has been dancing for over 16 years. Currently at the age of 27 he has been a member of Houston’s own Havikoro Crew.

Joel has traveled all around the world with the group as special guests in teaching dance. His experience lays in the artful and athletic workings of “breaking.” He is also experienced in house and freestyle dance, but his discipline and popularity is in breaking. He has performed, taught, and competed in over 22 different countries.

More impressively he has competed in the infamous 2004 Red Bull Beatrider. He has toured with Grammy Award winning Hip-Hop group known as “The Roots” and is notably known as the “human helicopter.”
